The World Forgetting – By The World Forgot
This is a picture of me after the Oregon game. Not only does BB love sports and gambling, but we love bubbles. More importantly, we love bursting the bubbles of people who didn’t believe in us. We said, our Bowl Game Beer Run is legendary, but sadly, not all of you listened. Now we’re 14-3 and sitting pretty – so here’s what’s going on today.
(Side Note: Every time you click on a bowl preview on ESPN – you have to sit through the same 15 second Land Rover commercial – only to see Todd McShay’s face after the fact. Please, for your own safety – Don’t do it!!!)
Air Force vs. Houston (-4)
Last time these teams met, Hurricane Ike scared the boys into switching venues. Personally, I would have played through it. Playing a game in hurricane like conditions could add a whole different dimension. Talk about an exciting game to watch – imagine what the commentating would be like.
“Shea Smith takes the snap, he pump fakes downfield, and Smith is taking off!! He hurdles the Houston linebacker, he’s into the open field, Smith’s at the 25 – 15 and ohhh… Smith gets taken out by a piano! Air Force will have the ball 1st and 10 at the Houston 12 yard line”
Houston airs out the ball, and Air Force runs it down your throat. Can Houston rebound and avenge the early season loss?
Pittsburgh vs. Oregon State (-2)

There’s a football game today? Umm… Who’s playing?
Vanderbilt vs. Boston College (-3.5)
We bet on BC in the ACC Championship Game – I’m sorry, the Dr. Pepper ACC Championship game brought to you by Dr. Pepper – And we lost. But that’s alright, no one wins all the time. Speaking of BC, I really want to go to law school there; here’s a picture of a BC Law Student….
Okay – I’m done with the girls. This game is in Nashville (Vandy plays there!!!), but Vandy was 3-3 at home this year so I’m not sure how much it helps. Boston College has a very impressive run this year – led by probably the best defense in the ACC. I love the ACC/SEC match-ups; and there’s an even better one later tonight….
Oh, and this is the Gaylord Bowl…
Minnesota vs. Kansas (-8)
Can the Kansas front 7 stop the powerful Minnesota ground game? Well… Iowa held them to like 7 rushing yards. What happened to the Barber-Maroney Minnesota teams with huge offensive lines that ran the ball down your throat?
Minnesota started off the year on a huge run, and trailed off towards the end – But this isn’t last years Jayhawks team either. Which style will prevail in Arizona? Your guess isn’t as good as mine.
LSU vs. Georgia Tech (-4)
Les Miles just kind of looks angry doesn’t he? Maybe it’s because he’s playing in a bowl game in friggen Atlanta!?
BB has been very excited about this game since we saw the bowls come out. LSU has been on a serious slide, and Georgia Tech (with the option) has been tough to beat down the stretch. Todd McShay like LSU (maybe the first underdog he’s taken) but he also likes ponies, rainbows, and inordinate amounts of hair gel.
